POSITIVE MUSIC POWER. Michael Odermatt, known professionally as MiKey, is a Swiss pianist, composer, and record producer. He is known for his purely intuitive creative expression on the piano and his capabilities to visually and musically produce the essence of Dust of Soul. This results in the two artists being inseparable and collectively unique.

Dust of Soul are known for their image reinventions and musical versatility. They perform original songs that are written and musically composed by both artists. The music is about never giving up on a dream and strengthening our inner positivity. But the musicians convince not only with their songwriting in the traditional sense, but also with their talent to intuitively create songs live on stage with the energy of the audience. This creates a never before experienced closeness between artist and audience and is called «Music Souling». With their initiative music reading capabilities they have had significant positive impact on health and mindset of numerous people across industries.

Dust of Soul appeared in more than 150 concert performances on three continents—in India, Oman, Tunisia, Europe (Germany, Italy, France, Liechtenstein, Switzerland), and Turkey. With a growing community on social media, 220,000 followers have led Dust of Soul 2013 to Tunisia, 2016 to the Sultanate of Oman into the Middle East, and 2019 to India.

MTV India Unplugged presented Dust of Soul as the sensational duo as opening act for Bollywood Superstar Ayushmann Khurrana in 2017. Another career highlight is the special performance for the King of Oman with their dedicated song «Color of Oman» on the Sultan’s birthday in 2018 at the Amphitheater Muscat with 20 Omani musicians of the «Lujinia Omani Band».

In November 2018, Dust of Soul received an award from the Girija Baqer Art Foundation for their contribution to the world of music.

Their 2019 debut studio album Dust of Soul In Colors features columbian singer & percussionist Rodry-Go (famous for performances with Carlos Santana, Anastasia, Deep Purple) and New York influenced Rapper Yaw Boso. Another highly successful fusion is their mix of Opera/Pop with Indian Rap and Beatboxing. The music video «Victory» featuring Hindi Rapper Mc Siddu and The Dharavi Dream Project Mumbai (a «Universal Music India» initiative) filmed in the Dharavi (same location as Blockbuster «Slumdog Millionaire») gets more than half a million views.

2019 Dust of Soul reached the top 10 in the Switzerland National Finals out of 28,000 artists at the largest European music contest «Tour Music Fest». The Berklee College of Music in Boston responded to their performance with: «Outstanding artistic fashion style. Excellent stage presence. Extremely descriptive. Very interactive.»

In 2020, Dust of Soul release «Rainbow»—a heart-breaking ballad, «Smile»—in collaboration with Indian Bollywood Actor Yash Choudhary, and «Music Love»—featuring Indian Rapper Noxious D (famous from «Gully Boy») & Roland India selected artist Indian Singer-Songwriter Ketan Mohite.

In 2021, Dust of Soul present their studio album WONDERLAND. Featured single releases are «Wonderland» featuring Cortés Kimberly—mastered by Andy Walter at Abbey Road Studios in London, and «Lost»—in collaboration with Ed Sheeran’s Mastering Engineer.

In 2022, Dust of Soul celebrate 10 Years Dust of Soul with the show BACK TO THE FUTURE with international and national supporting acts. 
On this occasion, the culture magazine NAZAR publishes nationwide on newspaper-stands a special edition dedicated to 10 years of Dust of Soul and their vision for the future: Sustainable Music—«Positive Music Power».

Dust of Soul have collaborated with brands such as MTV India, Starbucks, Tupperware, Yamaha Music (through official reseller Tastenträume), Radisson Blu, and Grand Hyatt.
