released a series of singles ("Control", "Thinking About You" and "Drops of Light") that anticipated the release of his debut EP as a solo artist: "Drops of Light". This EP was released on November 26th. In April 2023 he published the first single of his upcoming live acoustic EP, "Montreux Acoustic Session". It's a live version of his 2020 song "This You Deserve".

In 2019 Dave realized it was time to write a new chapter in his life so he decided to take a more personal path, after many years of enriching experiences with many musical projects.

So, he got back to his original artist name "Dave De Vita" and continued on a more independent route, and he has now started to release his own music.

Dave's background is based on Music studies; he obtained a Master's Degree in Music (Singing, Performance, and Composition) at the Music College “HEMU” (Haute Ecole de Musique) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Despite his young age, Dave already has more than 16 years of experience in the music business with his intense activity as lead singer for several projects as a bandleader and collaborator. It all started with his first band Tipsy Road, in which he was co-founder, lead singer, and co-composer. Between 2008 and 2015 the group released 3 albums and toured Switzerland and Europe.

Dave had a chance to perform for many important events and locations (as lead singer, backup singer, and guitar player) also at the Montreux Jazz Festival (seven appearances in five years), the Bierhübeli in Bern, the LAC in Lugano, Théâtre de Vidy in Lausanne, and many more.

It should be mentioned, in particular, the performance he did in 2018 with and for the renowned artist James Blunt, which was broadcast live on Swiss television (RTS), and for whom, he played guitar and did backing vocals.

Dave also collaborates with many artists as a Songwriter and Lyricist.

In 2013-2014 he participated in the TV show The Voice of Switzerland, passing many auditions and reaching the final stages.

Also, 2018 is the year when he performed as a backup singer for the live project of the Swiss Pop-Folk artist Sebalter, where his compositions (re-arranged and conducted by Emil Spanyi) were played live with the Swiss Italian Orchestra (Orchestra Della Svizzera Italiana).

Recently, he collaborated with the Théâtre de Vidy (Switzerland) as Composer, Actor, and Singer, and with the show "Concours Européen de la Chanson Philosophique" he toured Europe for more than a year.

He is also lead singer and co-composer for Joe Dallas & The Monks, an eclectic Funk project that reunites many awesome musicians from all over Europe. This has also been the resident band for the TV/Radio show "Rete Tre Show" airing on the Swiss Italian Radio and Television (RSI).

Not least, Dave has recently collaborated with the French composer Gaspard Colin as co-lyricist and singer for the realization of a song that has just been chosen as the soundtrack of the Youth Olympic Games that took place in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2020. Dave also recorded the song and performed it live during the opening ceremony.

Dave, together with his new team, is now ready to write a new and crucial chapter in his life. He started to release his own music as a solo artist, music with which he aims to conquer many hearts. In 2022 he focused on the promotion of his new EP Drops of Light (released in November 2021) by doing various concerts in Switzerland and online. At the moment he's working on new projects and new music that he will publish later this year!
