Il jazz è una musica seria ma non seriosa. Questo è lo spirito con cui i Girotondo Quartet affrontano un repertorio a metà tra la tradizione americana e il meglio delle canzoni italiane in stile swing e bossa nova.
Gli arrangiamenti freschi e ritmati sono costruiti attorno alla voce sensuale di Caterina che via via interpreta brani eseguiti da Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra ma anche Mina, Claudia Vanoni e Fred Buscaglione.
Il quartetto gioca con la musica anche nell'improvvisazione e nell'interplay a favore di uno spettacolo sempre diverso e che non annoia mai.
